APPLICATION GUIDELINES

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SIMPLE GUIDELINES BEFORE STARTING PAINTING,

IN ORDER TO EXPERIENCE A FLAWLESS AND EFFECTIVE RENOVATION!

The paint coverage is very high: 8-10 m2 with a 500 ml tins.

1st STEP

 Always prepare the surface carefully cleaning it with 1 litre of hot water, 3/4 tablespoons of bicarbonate and 1/2 cup of ammonia.

The perfectly cleansed base without any grease patina will be even more receptive and will facilitate the paint adherence.

Rinse with water and a microfiber cloth.

2nd STEP

Apply the first coat without diluting the paint, it will adhere to all surfaces (wood, tiles, iron, glass, marble, plastic, etc …)
Please remember to apply the paint by carefully pulling it and trying not to leave drips and thicknesses on the corners.

We discourage you from going back and forth while painting, you would only risk consuming more paint than necessary and not covering the surface adequately.

In case of rough or porous colouring materials, please dilute the paint with 20% water in the first coat application.

3rd STEP

When the first coat of paint is completely dry, you can proceed with the second coat of paint.

Magic Paint dries very quickly, in 1-2 hours in a medium humidity level environment, the surface will be dry and ready for a second coat (on tiles applied to the wall the drying times are longer). Please allow the surface to be thoroughly dry and warm before applying the second coat.

When applying the second coat of paint, you must dilute it with 15-20% water, in order to get a greater coverage and a perfect result.

Our indications may vary according to the porosity of the surface to be painted and the temperature and humidity of the environment at the time of drafting.

Please note that light colours are usually less covering, so they may need an extra coat.

4th STEP

Always protect Magic Paint with the best product that suits your needs:

The Leggendaria Wax or the Jasmine Wax are ideal to protect all low wear restorations (bedside tables, dressers, wardrobes, etc.), ensuring a washable and resistant surface.

The Transparent Liquid Protector is designed to ensure a high resistance to painted surfaces subject to high wear, such as chairs, tables, kitchens.
