Can you colour a marble surface with Magic Paint?

With Magic Paint you can change the colour of any marble surface without sanding or passing clinging products first.

It has a high clinging power that makes it adhere and last over time. It is also natural and odourless, so it can be used at home without any problem.

Alternatively you can simply make it brighter or protect it or apply a stencil with our Materic Cream.

The use is very simple:

– The first step is to degrease well the surface you want to paint with hot water, ammonia and bicarbonate, (in a litre of water put 3/4 tablespoons of bicarbonate and a cap of ammonia, if you are allergic to ammonia you just need water and bicarbonate). These are the only products that clean the surface well without leaving traces.

– Once dried the surface can proceed with painting. You open the jar, mix well and proceed with the first coat very stretched, (avoid leaving drips on the edges because at the end of the work would not be aesthetically beautiful). Let the surface dry well before proceeding with the third step (it is understood to be dry when the surface is hot when the hand is placed on it. The drying time depends on the environment in which you are and the season).

If you want a smooth effect we suggest to use RULLO and adopt this technique: https://elisirhome.com/come-si-ottiene-un-effetto-liscio-moderno-con-la-magic-paint/

– The second coat completely covers the surface, so you will no longer see the colour underneath. If the first coat has already been very opaque, the second coat can be diluted with 10/15% water. Let it dry well.

– Finally, depending on the piece of furniture, it is recommended to protect with WAX (bedside tables, drawers, wardrobes, low-wear furniture) or with LIQUID PROTECTIVE (kitchens, chairs, tables, doors, high-wear furniture).
